Training, the updated test match schedule ahead of the SuperLega debut
After a month of preparation without test matches, Italian champion Itas Trentino’s male team got the ball rolling last Saturday at PalaRomare, playing a match with Modena for the “1° Trofeo Città di Schio”. The Gialloblù's pre-season will now have at least one match (either official or as a joint training session) per week, until the debut in SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24 on October 22 in Cisterna di Latina. The friendly match schedule has been expanded compared to the one from mid-August. This Saturday’s match with Milan will be cancelled due to the unavailability of the ilT quotidiano Arena; this week Soli's team will still face Santa Croce on Friday night in the via Fersina facility. On Wednesday, October 4 and Saturday, October 7, Trento will be host for the Austrians of Innsbruck and the Friulians of Prata di Pordenone (Serie A2) respectively. The last two challenges will be a rematch with Modena (Oct. 14), this time with home-field advantage, and then a joint training session with Verona (Oct. 18), the last one before the start of the championship.
